A partnership with Wellington based software firm iPayroll will let Xero customers automatically import payroll data from iPayroll into their Xero accounting system.

iPayroll executive director Cary Thomson says its alliance with Xero will benefit both firms. "We are both operating in similar markets and helping customers with complementary functions. The beauty of having web-based solutions is they can talk directly to each other behind the scenes."
