Leave Overview first.
To Set Up Leave for a Person:-
- Add a new Person.
- Check the Leave Entitlement transactions on their
Timesheet Template,
changing them as necessary.
- Check the person's Standard Hours, if they are accruing leave based on that figure.
- Enter any Opening Balances for
Annual,
Sick,
and any other leave types you maintain.
(not usually required, unless you are setting up your organisation).
- Check the person's Leave Balances.
Leave Set Up Tips
- You can easily set up leave for a person after paying them a few times.
This makes it easy to get your payroll up and running without having to worry about leave.
- You should set up leave for a person before recording any annual leave taken.
If you don't, you may find that annual leave average payments were due, and it may be
confusing to set up the correct opening balances.
