Payroll Customer Service Consultant - Auckland or Wellington

We are currently expanding our team and seeking a Payroll Customer Service Consultant based in our Auckland or Wellington offices.

You will be providing front-line helpdesk phone and email support and also a small amount of end to end bureau (payroll) processing.

Ideally we are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven end-to-end payroll experience (2-3 years+ experience running full payroll functions)
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Loves talking and interacting with customers
  • Can solve payroll problems on the fly
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Wants to work with a variety of customers from all business sectors
  • Is a team player with a can do will do, I've done it attitude
  • Enjoys a challenge and wants to learn, grow and be part of a busy, vibrant and friendly team

You will be working closely with others in the support team and interacting with our customers daily via phone and email. This role has plenty of variety and is one where no two days and no two customers are ever the same. Its fun!

Previous payroll experience and solid understanding of the holiday act and other payroll legislation are must haves however full training will be provided in the use of the iPayroll software solution.

If you love payroll but want to step away from the day to day running of a payroll itself, and are keen to break free from ‘having’ to be at work on certain days as you are the only person in the business that can run a payroll, this is definitely the right role for you.

Our customers are located the length and breadth of the country and range from education and health, to hospitality, retail and everything in between. Typically they are not payroll experts so they rely heavily on us to support and guide them through processing payroll by using our leading edge cloud based software.

We are an office first focused business. Our offices are based in the CBD of either Auckland or Wellington and you WILL be required to be in the office Monday to Friday to really be part of the team.
